A search and rescue operation in the creek, nearby Ezine

On Saturday night, February 2, 2019, A search and rescue operation was initiated in the creek, nearby Ezine as a result of the disappearance of a vehicle with four young people. Head of the Department Prof. Dr. Emin Uğur Ulugergerli, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Tolga Bekler and Assoc. Prof. Dr. Cahit Çağlar Yalçıner of ECAY, a Tech Company.

Prof. Dr. Emin Uğur Ulugergerli said that they did a survey with magnetic gradiometer in order to get fast results in the operation. He stated that they observed a strong indication at the second phase of the search and located the vehicle, and that after this stage, underwater search teams followed their own procedures and reached vehicle.
